Below are a few of my most frequently asked questions. Haven't found the answer you're looking for? Get in touch with me today.

What equipment do I need to practice yoga online?

All you need is a yoga mat and some comfortable clothing. You can bring a bottle of water with you and any props (e.g. straps, yoga blocks) you are used to bringing in your practice, but these are absolutely not essential!

How does yoga through Zoom work?

I send you the Zoom link the day before the class (pr the morning of for evening classes). You have the choice to leave your camera on or off, it’s entirely up to you! I can give more specific pointers if your camera is on, but I always give extra modifications and alternatives on poses to make sure everyone can follow the class. If you have any questions, you can message me before or after the class, and you’re welcome to unmute yourself during the class to ask a question too!

Do you play music in your classes?

Through Zoom I find the music quality is not as good and takes away from the class. I have a number of Spotify playlists which I send in advance of the class, and you can play these in the background as you’ll be muted on the call.

What if I have an injury?

It is rare that an injury would prevent you from practising yoga. With new clients I will always ask you if you have any mobility restrictions or injuries I should be aware of, and I’ll ensure you have safe modifications of the yoga poses. I engage hugely with my clients to make sure my sessions are tailored to your exact needs.

What if I’m not flexible enough to practice yoga?

Yoga is for absolutely everyone, there is no such thing as not being flexible enough or not in shape enough to practice yoga. All my classes are designed to be suitable for complete beginners, and you’d be amazed how quickly your flexibility will improve when practising safely and consistently.

What if I don’t have enough time to commit to a yoga practice?

Welcome to the very concept on which the Busy Warrior is founded! I have built all my classes with the busy professional in mind - my aim is to ensure that you have the tools to build and maintain a real practice in even 25 minutes, which you can take away and incorporate anywhere, even at the desk or on the go.

I want to feature a yoga or mindfulness session in an event I’m organising but I don’t see exactly what I want here?

I will work with you to design the exact session you want, custom-made to your exact specifications. Give me a call to discuss your plans, and I can give you suggestions based on your theme. Your imagination is the limit!
